When we met with RMC Builders, our basement was a dark, outdated area of the house that was barely used by anyone in the household. The kids were getting older, and we needed a space for them to “hang out.” RMC worked with us to realize the potential for the whole area, taking a wall out and creating an open concept while keeping a bedroom and bathroom for guests. Among other things, we utilized/used lighting concepts and new flooring to create a brighter space. Everything looks clean and sharp, and the kids love being in their “new basement.” We feel like we doubled the size of our house, which is fairly true.

My wife and I were struggling with storage in our home. We asked the RMC team to give us some advice on how we can find more storage in our ranch style home built in the early 50's. They identified one area that was unfinished space that we were under utilizing. They gave us a plan which included finishing the space with drywall, adding pull lights that didn't exist, and adding custom shelving along the wall that would allow for large bins. When they first started, they did a great job of sealing off our space which included our guest bedroom and office. All areas were sealed and floors were covered. The end product was a finished closet space, with lighting and a huge amount of shelving that we didn't have. There was also a vent that was exposed and rusted. They replaced the vent and covered it with a step that they custom built. We can't wait to put this storage to use!

We needed help with our basement, and RMC Builders guided us through making a dingy, outdated area of the house to one that we enjoy every day. Our basement was broken up and not very usable. The team at RMC helped us open up the whole basement, reconfiguring everything to include all of the items we need. We have all the wants on our original list and more. My husband and I could not be happier with our renovated garage turned basement! Our original setup didn't work for us in terms of room layout, convenience, etc. because our basement was broken up and the whole thing was not being used efficiently. RMC not only helped us with a vision, but was able to create exactly what we were hoping for. I worked with Chris and Adam for our basement renovation and they were excellent. Adam was our project manager and was the BEST communicator. RMC Builders did work for us last Fall. We needed to update our recently purchased 20 yr old condo in Timonium.

We added molding in our breakfast area, upgraded lighting and added a few fans, redid bathroom floors & painted the rooms. We broke through a wall sep the kitchen and living room, to open the area, and, to create a breakfast bar opening.

We were very pleased with every phase of the project.

RMC is very detail and customer service oriented.

They were very sensitive & respectful to time schedules, our personal prop., and responsive to our needs, questions, or requests to come back to resolve an unexpected issue or two, etc.

We absolutey loved the end result, across the board.

In the future we would not hesitate to use them again, and are very comfortable in recommending them on any project.
