Lamley St Warehouse Conversion
What was once an old warehouse structure on Lamley St is now a striking modern residence—reimagined from the ground up by RMC Builders. This project is a true example of adaptive reuse: taking an industrial space and thoughtfully converting it into a comfortable, highly functional home while preserving its character.
When we first stepped into the building, the space was raw and unfinished—dirt floors, exposed structure, and outdated systems throughout. Rather than erase its history, the homeowners wanted to embrace it. Together, we focused on blending industrial elements with clean, modern living.
From Industrial Shell to Livable Space
The scope of work touched nearly every part of the structure. We began with major infrastructure upgrades, including new plumbing, electrical, and gas service, ensuring the home met modern code and comfort standards. A new roof system was installed using a flat, torch-down rubberized asphalt assembly—durable, weather-resistant, and well suited for the building’s architectural style.
Designed for Modern Living
Inside, the transformation was dramatic. What was once bare ground is now a finished concrete slab floor that anchors the entire home. The flooring maintains an industrial feel while offering durability and a sleek, contemporary look—especially striking in the expansive great room.
The kitchen was designed as a central gathering space, balancing function with style. Clean lines, durable surfaces, and thoughtful layout decisions make it ideal for everyday living and entertaining alike.

Three full bathrooms
A spacious open great room
A dedicated media / gaming room
A home gym
An existing garage

Throughout the home, modern finishes were carefully selected to complement the industrial structure—from tile flooring that mimics wood tones to open spaces designed for natural light and flexibility.
